"Howe cottage was a lovely place to stay it was new so very smart and very clean situated in a very peaceful picturesque farm. The owners Arthur and Julie made us very welcome along with their five friendly dogs. There are a few things it lacked one being cupboard space but that wasn’t too much of an issue for us as there was only the two of us."

"What an absolutely fantastic place to stay - the location is central to numerous attractions, whilst rural enough to have a peaceful and quiet stay in the countryside - The cottage itself is finished to an exceptional standard with all the amenities you could need, with a beautiful garden which has a BBQ area and seating for you to enjoy the surroundings. One of the highlights of our stay was the attentiveness of the owners, who were able to reccomend fantastic local sights and places to eat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return in the future!"

"Gorgeous & cosy, surrounded by beautiful farmland. Would happily go back when we return to the Lakes. Really enjoyed our stay; the anex itself is cosy, homely. The lovely modern kitchen has everything you could need and the bathroom is very clean & modern with a great large waterfall shower. Even the toilet had a wrapping on it so you could tell had been cleaned just before our arrival. The bedroom has THE comfiest bed. Julie and her husband were lovey - they let us settle in, said hi when they saw us in the garden and were very welcoming but then left us to it giving us lots of privacy. When we were out on the grounds the next day with our dog, baby & toddler they came over for a chat and to tell us about the animals. Our dog also loved playing with their dogs and they had a good bit of gated land we could let him out on. But again, they gave us privacy when we went back to the anex. Felt very safe, especially with the kids & dog & will happily return again. Would recommend. Thanks"

"What an amazing stay. The cottage was absolutely beautiful, the pictures don’t show just how lovely. There was everything we could have needed plus really nice extras like coffee pods for the machine, honey and jams and everything else was just great quality. The cottages was finished to a really high standard and spotless. The beds were also really comfy. The area was beautiful. It was the perfect base to explore and so peaceful. We loved the garden and little BBQ area and our 2 children loved playing outside. Julie and Arthur were great hosts and if we needed anything it was no trouble. A lovely couple. Can’t recommend enough and we will definitely be back."
